FIERI Boston's 9th Annual Pasquetta Scholarship Awards Gala was held on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Boston Logan Airport Hilton.

FIERI Boston's 2005 Award Recipients

At our 9th Annual Pasquetta,

the Hon. Judge Peter Agnes, Jr. was honored as the recipient of
FIERI Boston's Italian-American of the Year 2005 award

and

Mr & Mrs. Gerardo & Liliana Nigro were presented with
the FIERI Boston Honorary Members of the Year 2005 award.

FIERI Boston established its Italian-American of the Year Award in 2002 in order to further its mission of promoting a positive image of Italian-Americans in the media. The FIERI Boston Italian-American of the Year Award honors and celebrates the outstanding achievements of Italian-American men and women who continually seek to promote and preserve Italian culture, history, and heritage, while conducting themselves with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

Past recipients of the FIERI Boston Italian-American of the Year award include Ms. Pam Donnaruma (Publisher of the Boston Post-Gazette), Mayor Thomas M. Menino (City of Boston), and Mr. Salvatore Balsamo (Chairman, TAC Worldwide).

the following graduating high-school seniors
were presented with FIERI Boston Scholarship Awards:

Ms. Christina Patti (Revere High School)
Mr. Anthony Bova Jr. (Masconomet Regional High School)
